This week we have a full range of FootJoy summer t-shirts in a variety of colours just in time for the summer heat. These will be sold at €60 each or two for €100. We also have a lovely range of the chill out tops from the same company. These will be retailing at €80 but if you buy one with a T-shirt we will be selling them together for the same price as two shirts.
It is now time to really start thinking about getting serious for the upcoming season. Far too many people come into the shop and look for a new driver, fairway or rescue. It is very rare for a customer to look for a good putter or new wedge as it is a part of the game that not enough attention is paid to. Over 70% of the game is played from inside 100 yards and at least 40% is on the green. Too really start scoring come in and have a look at great range of putters and wedges all available for demo. We have the new PING glide wedge that has the softest feel, a variety of bounce options all designed to improve players performance at all abilities. Cleveland has always been a market leader and have produced a classic wedge in both a chrome and raw metal finish. We also have a full loft and bounce option in what has been the market leader, the Titleist Vokey. The Glide and Vokey will retail at €139 although we will be doing multiple buy offers. The Cleveland is retailing at a fabulous price of €99 with the same multiple buy offers.
Coming into to golfing season a summer a piece of equipment that is neglected too often is headwear. It is not just a fashion accessory it is an essential piece of equipment for the summer ahead. There are many reason for the wearing of a baseball style hat or visor, the most important of which is UV protection from the sun. Nearly every hat now on the market protects the golfer from the sun, which during a 4-5 hour round has to be a very important factor. It reduces the chance of migraine as too often on a summer's day the golfer is guilty of squinting to see with sun glare, which is reduced by the sheltering effect of the cap peak. Also it is used shelter the golfer from distraction from movement and anything that would put the golfer off a shot. It is also used as a trigger point for pre-shot routine for many top players, which has become a very valuable piece of the modern golfer's mind-set. They are a fashion item as well, and we have many different styles and colours that will suit all players and profiles. It could be the best €20-€25 you will spend this summer.
From Monday evening the shop will be open till at least 8.30pm on weeknights and 7.00pm at the weekends. We have our Open Week starting next week and full timesheets are available in the shop and online.
