This years golf club reviews On the club front, we have had a top year with a certain driver, the PING G400. This has been for two reasons; its performance and its value in the current market place. With many of the other brands retailing around the €500 mark, this driver in the mid €300’s has outperformed all around it for the mentioned reasons. Callaway released the Rogue which has been outstanding but on the more expensive side. Thankfully, Callaway have realised that they are onto a winning product and have decided not to replace Rogue in 2019. What they have done however, is brought the price down to compete with PING G400, and this driver will now retail at €379 in our shop. I would not be surprised if this driver will remain in the line-up through 2020 as well. After a slow start with the TS2 and TS3 range, there has been a real surge in interest with these new woods from Titleist. So, come in and give it a go. I’m under the impression that originally, many people thought these new woods held the same characteristics as its predecessors but just with a new name. However, it has been proven that this is not the case with this product offering a lighter crown and explosive face technology. Titleist has moved into the modern era of heavy artillery from the tee. |
