Junior Open Day

We had a break in our junior coaching on Tuesday as we hosted our yearly open day for the junior section in the club. We had competitions for all age groups with a huge entry and buzz around the club al day. It was a great success with the bar jammed packed for the presentation in the evening and was great to see all the juniors having a fun time and plenty of happy faces with the trophies won and chocolate eaten.

Group Lessons

Lessons will be back to normal after this, but don't forget to book as it is so important that all the participants get the right attention at the sessions. The future looks really bright seeing the golf and scores on Tuesday.

The ladies lessons continue as well on Tuesday at 11am and Wednesday at 7pm. Next week we will be back working on the long game, having spent this week working on our short pitch shots.

Don't forget you can always book a personal lesson or a small group. My diary is in the shop and if I am not available it will be in the book. Sometimes I can't just drop everything and run out onto the range, as if I have nothing booked there are times when I am catching up on other stuff, so please don't be offended if I can't just do a lesson on the spot.

Captain's Day

Captain's day is not too far away and the qualifying weekend will take place next Saturday and Sunday 15th/16th July so make sure that you get your name down as the sheets will fill up quickly.

 

PING Launch Coming Soon!

Not too far away now till the launch of the new PING driver that we will have in store for demo the day of its release. This will really be a product worth taking for a test drive as when PING release new product it has usually had a lot of careful consideration and design features.

They are not a company to chop and change their way so this new driver and irons will simply be an enhancement on what has proved to be the most consistent retail product over the past 5 years. Other companies have definitely stolen the limelight at times, but none have performed as consistently as PING.

I Want To Know What You Think!

I know we don't want to think about it, but the winter season is not too far away and we will start looking towards this in the next few months. I would welcome any suggestions as to the sort of product you would like to see in the shop for the winter, as sometimes it can be a lottery trying to guess the market place and needs and wants.

Let us know if there was anything that you would like in particular and we will see if we can get it in for the coming seasons.

An Offer You Can't Refuse

One big area that we sometimes forget and put on the log fire is the need for club maintenance, as we let our grips and clubs deteriorate causing a detrimental effect on our ability to play to our potential. We are always doing great deals in shop and this continues into our repairs and re-gripping so come in and check if your clubs need a spruce up.

From now till the end of the season we will be doing fabulous prices on club re grips and if we have the grip in stock will promise a 24 hour turnaround max on a full set or we will do them for FREE, as long as the grip is in stock. We can order in most grips on a couple of days turnaround, so ask if you are looking for a particular items, sometimes we just can't get certain things, but you can always ask!

Clubs can break in all manner of ways so we can repair the shafts etc. as well. A good recommendation of our repairs would one of our shop employees who was so happy with his club repair last week, snapped shaft, he just decided to have another one this week. This trend might continue as the summer goes on due to his more frequent appearances on the course.
