Let's start this week with what is going on re coaching over the coming weeks and months.


 

Ladies Lessons

Our ladies lessons are now scheduled for 11am on a Tuesday morning and 7pm on a Wednesday night. Each week we will be covering a different aspect of the game and what we do on a Tuesday we will cover as well on the Wednesday. So whichever day you choose you will miss nothing. Next week we will be starting on the putting green as the basics of golf swing starts with the basics we learn in this simple method of hitting the ball forward with the flat face of the putter. We will then move through all aspects of the swing and how to play different shots as the spring moves on.

There is no need to book in for these sessions, just come along on the day that suits you. 

Junior Lessons

Our junior program is very much back to the summer schedule. These session will run on Tuesdays from 5.30pm to 6.30pm; on Thursdays from 5.30pm to 6.30pm and 6.30pm to 7.30pm; and on Saturdays from 1pm to 2pm. Next week we will be on the putting green as well. It is still very early in the season and the weather can still be cold, so make sure you are well-wrapped up for the cold.


 

Summer Clothing Arriving Daily In Store

Our summer clothing is coming arriving in bundles at the moment with a full collection of shirts and outerwear from Galvin Green now on the shelves and we also have a great selection of FootJoy clothing for men and ladies. 

A lot of this clothing from these companies is fashion stock and will sell very quickly. So don't miss out as the heat is coming and hopefully we all want to look great this year ahead. 



Club Jumper Re-Stock

Our ladies club jumper has sold great from the outset. On Tuesday/Wednesday there should be a full re-stock of the product, which is available in both lambswool and merino. The only style we can't get in the merino has been the very popular zip neck that is only available in the heavier lambswool. Glenbrae's jumper has a touch of lycra in it so it holds its shape, but also has the effect of softening down the wool so the traditional hard uncomfortable feel of lambswool is not there. It's worth a look at both. 

Greg Norman Golf Clothing

We have a new range of Greg Norman shirts in club colours for both men and ladies. As an opening offer will be offering an unbelievable deal of a jumper and a club shirt for €100. A saving of €30 against the normal price of €130. There is also a great range of fashion colours in this shirt with a tonal logo. These will be sold at €50 or you can get 2 for €75. Greg Norman has been a big player in the clothing market for a while but has taken on a real new lease of life with their new owners. This is a product which at its height would have been right up there with the top brands. It is great to get on board and start their new journey with them as a company. There is also a lovely ladies team trouser in Navy is in stock at present.

New Golf Equipment For 2017

It is that time of the year that most of the companies have had an initial launch of their products and buzz words in the equipment market has really slowed down. Believe it or not most of the companies are only coming into stock of these products now in anticipation of the year ahead, so this is the time to buy. Come in and talk to one of us as we have a full range of drivers, fairways, irons and wedges for the top brands like TaylorMade, Callaway, Ping and Mizuno at prices that just cannot be matched anywhere. We have a couple of sets of the new Callaway Pro-Series steelhead which simply have to be hit to be believed. It has the look of a traditional players club and strikes the ball like nothing I have ever hit.

US Open Sweepstake

We will be starting a US open draw this week. If you wish to enter then get in early as we will only have a limited amount of spaces and we wish to get the draw done early. After the draw is done we will be offering the opportunity to trade your players with each other as well as offering handicap odds for the less likely players. PING Putter Fitting Day

On Monday 8th May we will have the return of PING for a custom fitting day, only this time we will be on the putting green, a place that is rarely visited when buying clubs. This will be an eye-opening experience and a real shot saver if you get it right. So please register your interest in the shop and we can confirm the day with you. 

Hopefully the sun will be out and the green will be running true. This could be the day that someone starts the long road to snatching the putting trophy out of Aaron's hands. He surely can't defend it again!
