Scratch Cup

Only a few days till our scratch cup on Sunday and we are expecting this to be a great day for the club, with one of the strongest fields assembled for such a competition. This hopefully will become an annual event and your support on the day would be so welcome. There will be a shot gun start at 8.30 am and then 2pm with 66 players competing. We have a good showing of local players along with the best amateurs in Ireland. The national development boys and men's team will be here along with many full internationals and provincial players. It will be interesting to see how the very best, find our course as a challenge and hopefully will showpiece what good test it will be.

Junior Coaching

Summer is not too far away now, with the clocks changing on Saturday night and the long evenings ahead of us. The junior coaching has changed this week in preparation for this. with the lessons now at 5.30 on Tuesday and Thursday, as well as another session at 6.30 on a Thursday.

Saturday lessons will continue at 1pm. With next week being the start of a new season we will be starting a fresh with our sessions being on the putting green for the first week.

 

New Arrivals

New in the shop this weekend, we have our first drop of the new Mizuno drivers, fairways and bags. These are probably the best looking heads on the market that performs in all tests against the other more established boomers, so come in and take one for a test drive, you really will not be disappointed. 

To follow in the next few weeks will be the highly acclaimed MP tour ball from Mizuno, along with the new TP 5 range from TaylorMade.

Next Month

Next month in April, our shop will fill with summer gear from Mizuno, Under Armour, FootJoy, addidas, Galvin Green, Gregg Norman and many more. Hopefully the sun comes out quickly and stays to make the coming months a great season for all.
