Shop news

Keep Your Eyes Peeled

Not much happening in regards to new product arriving in this week, we are waiting for the spring summer clothing to arrive which will all start arriving towards St. Patrick's Day.

It is hard to believe I will have had the shop open a year on that day and we will be gearing up to have a huge clearance sale of product on Friday, 17 March for just one day only.

Keep a keen eye on the newsletter for more information on this.

Is it Time For a New Driver?

There is a real buzz around the new drivers in the marketplace although the cold weather over the past few weeks has sort of dampened the desire to try them out. This is by far the best time to try and purchase these clubs. While the products are new the companies give us plenty of support to launch the product, so if you are looking for a real deal on the latest hardware then this is the time to get it.

There is very little between any of the products at this moment in terms of performance, a lot of the time it comes down to personal choice, preference and fit. So please come in and try whatever you wish, and we will make sure you get the right clubs for your game.

Have a look at our online store here.

Coaching news

I am away next week on holiday so there will be no lessons, but they will resume the following week on Tuesday, 28 February.

Pros news

Sit up and listen

Over the next few weeks we encourage you to read our articles on why it's so important to re-grip your clubs, the warning signs to look out for and how we can help find grips that are right for you.

There are so many options out there, and given the chance to try a new grip you'll be amazed by the difference you feel straight away. We'll even have an exclusive interview for you in a couple of weeks with world-renowned golf coach David Leadbetter - now that's something you don't want to miss.

So next time you're at the club, take a look at a few of your grips and consider if yours need changing. Alternatively, pop in-store and we'll cast an eye over them for you. Enjoy the articles.

Freezing February

There’s definitely still a chill in the air at the moment and with the weather forecasts predicting a cold snap for the coming weeks, the Merino Lined Sweater from ProQuip is the perfect layer to provide protection from the cold, wind and rain.
