Today sees the start of December and what always becomes a mad rush for all sorts of reasons getting ready for the big day ahead at Christmas. 

We have a lot of new stock in the shop for this time and the arrival of the cold weather so come in and have a look around if there is a golfer in the family that needs a little treat at this time of year.

Whilst we cannot hold all the stock in the shop of a McGuirks or Halpennys we have full access to all that they have through our companies and buying group. There is quite a quick turnaround on these products from order, normally about 4/5 days and we compete and beat their price on most things quite easily. 

So if we don't have something in the shop please ask us to quote on it, you might be surprised at the savings you can make!

Vouchers always go down well at this time of year, I know I would be guilty of thinking they are a great gift too, as they take away the decisions in what exactly to buy someone. 

We have shop vouchers available for all the services that we offer from lessons to all sorts of golf equipment. The big bonus of our shop vouchers is that there is never an expiry date on them.

A buzz in the air...

Golf at this time of the year can be a bit of an afterthought, but there is a buzz in the air with Tiger making his long awaited comeback tonight in Bermuda. 

No matter how he performs it is great to see him play and at this time of the year will inject much needed lift into our own enthusiasm for the game. It is also an opportunity to see him with new equipment in his post Nike era as he will be swinging many different sticks than what we are used to seeing in his bag. 

A big coup for TaylorMade is seeing the M series in his bag as well as Rory's, who knows what that might bring in the future. We eagerly wait the launch of the new TaylorMade product and without doubt they will be the go to brand in 2017.

Coaching news

Coaching next week is as normal for the juniors, as long as it does not get too cold, and the ladies lessons will also be taking place at 11 am on Wednesday. 

This week we have been working on the basic short game movements that lead into the full swing. When it comes down to it the full swing is just an extension of he basic pitch shot and the improvement shown this week in what we weer working on to hit the ball has been super. 

Hopefully the winter will see great improvements everyone's game.
